Do you offer group discounts?
There are no group discounts on our experiences. We work diligently to price our experiences as low as possible so that everyone can participate in our experiences, regardless if you’re with 1 or 100 of your friends.
Where do we Check In?
- BBG's on "Dirty" 6th Street (214 E 6th St, 78701).
- Check In begins 30 minutes prior to the bus departure time you book.
- (ex. Check In begins at 10:30am if you book the 11:00am departure time)
- BBG's Specials: $4 Bloody Marys, $3 Mimosas, $2 Off Appetizers & Salads
Guests board and Check In directly at Capital Cruises' Dock (208 Barton Springs Rd, 78704).
Please note the dock is located on the Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail
Boarding and Check In begin at 11:45am.
Check In is at The YETI BARRR, located on the patio of The YETI Flagship Store (220 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704)
We host a pre-cruise Happy Hour at the YETI BARRR that is from 6:15-6:55. We cruise from 7-9.
Our guests receive a complimentary drink and a 30% discount on YETI products.
Guests are encouraged to Check In at The YETI BARRR, but can also meet us at Capital Cruises' Dock.

Is there Parking?
We strongly encourage you to take a ride share, as many of our experiences include complimentary beverages.
For The Bat Boat and The Brunch Boat, there is paid street parking on Barton Springs Rd., and at Auditorium shores. On certain days/nights, The Catherine has outdoor parking, adjacent to The Hyatt's outdoor lot, for $10. The YETI BARRR also offers our guests a one-hour-free parking voucher for The Hyatt's parking garage (just show your confirmation email to the bartender at The YETI BARRR - no purchase necessary).
What should I Bring?
You must bring a valid ID on all of our experiences.
We will check you in using your ID (no printed confirmation necessary).
We discourage guests from bringing anything valuable with them to the float and on the river. Please leave all large bags at home and come with only your necessities.
Before you get in the river, you will leave any valuables you brought in bins on the bus. Please pack a small bag/ something to secure phones/wallets/etc.).
The bins will either be locked on the bus, or locked inside the office located at the Exit Point of the river. Your guide will retrieve the bins for your group.
We recommend wearing sunglasses, a hat and shoes that you do not mind losing on the river.
Water shoes (Chacos, Crocs, etc.) or a cheap pair of flip-flops are perfect for floating.
Sunscreen and water are mandatory!
Towels are optional, but not necessary.
We provide a cooler (1 x 5 people) and BYOB is permitted on the bus and the river.
We will stop at a gas station about 20 minutes into the trips so that guests can buy beverages, snacks and ice.
What is the difference between a Private and Public Float?
Public Floats: The bus picks up and drops off from BBG's in downtown Austin. A tube, coolers, and cooler tubes are all included. There will be 1 cooler x 5 people on the bus, though if your group needs more, you can grab additional coolers at the Entry Point of the river.
Private Floats: We pick-up and drop-off at your location of choice (within Austin City Limits) and your bus is private. Guests must either bring their own coolers, or rent coolers at the Entry Point of the river ($5 each). We do not provide an ATC Guide for Private Floats, and guests are responsible for contacting their driver once they finish floating. Tubes and Cooler Tubes are included.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
To be fully refunded, guests must cancel their reservation via email 72+ hours from the departure date/time of their experience.
Guests who cancel within 72 hours of an experience will receive credit to use towards any future experience.
Name changes are always permitted.
Groups of 9+ must cancel an experience 1 week+ in order to be fully refunded. If we are notified of a cancellation/schedule change within 1 week, the group will receive a partial refund or credit towards a future experience.
If we have to cancel an experience due to weather, we will notify all guests 12-24 hours before. We will transfer your reservation or issue a full refund.
